CHARLIE-AND-RAT

This brand-new 13×30 min drama follows the escapades of the main character, 10-year old Charlie, whose family have re-located to the seaside.

Making a break from busy London life to set-up a B&B in Scarborough Charlie’s quirky family, including his sister Hannah and his little brother Louie, find themselves amidst a series of comedy capers.

Together with his best friends Ben and Alison, Charlie takes us on the adventure. Devising mischevious plans along the way, he inevitably finds himself at the heart of the odd scrape or two.

This colourful comedy was filmed on location in Scarborough and studios in Manchester. Timeline were delighted to see this project through Post Production.

Filmed on Arri Alexa to achieve a cinematic quality to the pictures, Timeline North began offlining three months ago.

Sound design, ADR and dub were completed in Pro-tools and the project was onlined in Avid Symphony.

On this occasion, Timeline also entered into a unique collaboration with Dock10’s Jamie Parry, who graded the first four episodes in Baselight.

Enjoy the fun and frolics of this seaside drama every Wednesday, 5pm on CBBC, beginning 25th September.
