About the Role
Timeline Television is looking for a reliable, highly focused and organised individual to work within our ITV Sport Media team, based in Ealing Broadway, London, providing media management support services to ITV Sport during the FIFA World Cup 2026.
This is a short-term role starting 01 May 2026 until 31st July 2026.
This entry level role is for 40 hours per week and you will be required to work a mixture of days, evenings, overnights, weekends and Bank Holidays as defined by a staff roster (with days off in lieu being provided). Occasionally, you may be required to work at other locations incl. broadcast media hubs, and ITV Sport Outside Broadcasts.

Main Duties
- Ingest of sport media from camera cards, broadcast drives, physical tapes and file transfers from external sources, and adding metadata
- Recording of incoming feeds, adding metadata and sending to relevant destinations
- Creating archive compilations of media from sport events
- Logging of ingest media and archive material
- Fulfilling requests for media; internally to ITV Sport production, ITV News and Creative, and externally to sales clients, sport partners and other broadcasters
- Undertaking file transfers to internal teams and third party clients e.g. edit facilities
- Organising and monitoring broadcast tape requests for ingest
- Playing out media to Outside Broadcast production of live events
- Minor archive research for ITV Sport production, using both material in the ITV Sport Archive and in other ITV databases
- When onsite (whether office or other location) you must ensure all tasks and activities are in accordance with ITV Sport or venue H&S guidance
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- You must be able to work effectively on your own and within a larger team
- Demonstrate flexibility and resilience, and must be able to stay calm under pressure
- Must be able to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach to the job and ability to adapt to last-minute changes in operational requirements
- General knowledge and an interest of sports
- An understanding of broadcast file-types and codecs is an advantage
- Previous experience in the media industry is desirable, but not essential
- Knowledge and experience with EVS systems and workflows, in particular IPDirector, is advantageous.
Shift based, including overnights, weekends and bank holidays
