The London 2012 Olympic Games – a five disc collection produced by BBC Sport – has sold 550,000 copies, according to latest figures from the Official Charts Company and British Video Association.
This means it has become the top selling sport and fitness DVD in the UK (overtaking the Ashes in 2005) – all post production was completed within a very tight three week schedule at Timeline TV North with lots of complicated elements including over 2000hrs of Olympics footage managed using IP Director.
