Timeline are looking to train a Graduate Edit Assistant working at Timeline’s facility in Media City Salford.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in developing a career in post-production to join our small team. As a graduate you will receive on the job training to help you to setup and support our edit suites and workflows. Some previous knowledge of Avid & Adobe NLE systems along with an understanding of post-production workflows, file formats, codecs and ingest applications is preferential but not essential.
This an 18 month’ development programme giving you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and develop practical skills for an exciting and rewarding career. As a Graduate Trainee, you can expect to put all the theory you have learnt at university into practice within an innovative organisation that will put you at the forefront of new and exciting developments in broadcast technology and prepare you for a long-term career.

Learning and developing your skills whilst participating in our Graduate Programme will also involve supporting the effective operation and workflows which involves the following:
You will hit the ground running, working directly alongside our skilled engineers, getting hands-on experience operationally supporting transmission, ingest, traffic, outside broadcasts and studio productions for our major broadcast clients. After a full induction, we will also offer you a mix of internal and external training, and you will have access to your own mentor to support your career development.
