- Achievement in Post Production for World’s End (CBBC)
Timeline Television North provided full picture and audio post production on the World’s End 36 part series. Timeline North also broke new ground with World’s End as it was CBBC’s first ‘End to End’ file delivery.
- Achievement in Systems Integration for our 4K Ultra HD OB truck used by BT Sport
- Innovation and R&D award for outstanding technical achievement for our 4K Ultra HD Outside Broadcast truck
Timeline designed and built the first purpose built 4K Ultra HD (UHD) outside broadcast unit in Europe. In conjunction with BT Sport this represents a significant investment in this brand new technology. Timeline TV’s 4K Ultra HD truck is the first dedicated outside broadcast facility offering 4K. Driven by the demand for production of 4K UHD content by broadcasters, initially being driven by BT Sport, the unit will launch in August and be available for hire for both sporting events and other production genres such as the arts, entertainment and natural history.
This cutting edge OB unit, built by Timeline’s systems integration division, is designed from the ground up to deliver 4K UHD programs to the same high standard as current HD programs for complex live or as live production. BT Sport and Timeline worked with all suppliers to ensure delivery of the latest innovative UHD 4K technology. Read more.
